Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods and materials. They ensure that the warehouse is organized, inventory is accurately tracked, and shipments are handled efficiently. This role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.
Job Description:
· Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming goods and materials.
· Ensure items are correctly stored in designated areas, following proper inventory control procedures.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and update the warehouse management system.
· Verify order accuracy before dispatching items to customers or other departments.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring that aisles are clear and storage areas are well-maintained.
· Ensure all goods are properly labeled and stored according to safety standards.
· Assist in unloading, checking, and storing incoming shipments from suppliers.
· Work with warehouse management to resolve any discrepancies in shipments or deliveries.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
· Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
· Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
Job Qualification:
· At least High school Graduate
· 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar role is advantage.
· Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word.
