Role Overview

EDGE Tutor is looking for motivated individuals who want to teach English online and work from home, even without prior ESL experience.

This Core ESL role is ideal for first-time online tutors who want structured support, guided lesson materials, and a clear pathway to higher-paying premium teaching opportunities within 3 to 6 months based on performance.

If you communicate well in English and enjoy helping learners improve, this role may be a great fit.

Teaching Commitment

Available Teaching Blocks:

• Weekdays: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Philippine Time

• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM Philippine Time

• Minimum 25 teaching hours per week for part-time

• Two rest days weekly, with at least one weekend day preferred

• High class demand ensures consistent bookings

What You Will Do

• Deliver structured 1-on-1 and small group English lessons using provided materials

• Teach learners from different countries and age groups

• Support students in building confidence and communication skills in English

• Gain real online teaching experience through live sessions

• Follow structured lesson guides and classroom standards

• Participate in ongoing training and coaching

Earnings and Incentives

• ₱140–₱200 per booked session

• Potential monthly earnings of ₱32,000–₱40,000

Minimum Requirements

• University graduate (any 4-year course)
• Bachelor's diploma and Transcript of Records (TOR)
• Strong English communication and clear pronunciation
• Passion for teaching children
• No ESL experience required
• TEFL certification or willingness to obtain one
• BPO, VA, training, education, or related experience is an advantage
• NBI or Police Clearance
• Philippine bank account (for payroll purposes)

Work From Home Requirements

• Laptop/Desktop: Intel i5 8th Gen or higher, 8GB RAM minimum, CPU score ≥ 3500

• External 1080p webcam

• Noise-cancelling headset

• Internet: Wired connection, 25 Mbps minimum download/upload + 15 Mbps backup (no mobile hotspot)

• Power backup for at least 8 hours
