Role Overview

For BPO trainers, corporate communicators, VAs, and teachers with a bachelor's degree in any 4-year course and strong spoken English ready to take their skills online.

EDGE Tutor's Premium Team works with adult learners who need English that performs in boardrooms, on global calls, and across international teams. If you can teach professionals to communicate with precision and confidence, this role was built for you.

Teaching Commitment

Available Teaching Blocks:

• 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• 12:00 AM – 4:00 AM

Peak Hours: High demand across all time blocks ensures consistent bookings and strong utilization throughout the day.

• Minimum 25 teaching hours per week (part-time)

• Two rest days weekly, with at least one weekend day preferred

Compensation

• ₱180–₱220 per hour (per booking)

• Average 90% booking rate

• Potential monthly earnings up to ₱40,000

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured Business English lessons to adult learners

• Conduct 1-on-1 and small group classes based on learner goals

• Focus on professional communication, fluency, and workplace English

• Provide individualized feedback to support learner progress

• Track attendance and performance outcomes

• Adjust teaching methods based on learner level and background

• Follow structured lesson plans and quality standards

• Coordinate with academic and operations teams for consistency

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Minimum Requirements

• University graduate (any 4-year course)
• Bachelor's diploma and Transcript of Records (TOR)
• TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent certification
• Strong spoken English proficiency (C2 level / EFSET equivalent)
• Philippine bank account (for payroll purposes)

Preferred Experience:

• Business English or corporate communication training

• BPO, VA, or client-facing professional experience

• Online tutoring or teaching background

Technical Requirements

• CPU: Intel Core i5 (8th Gen+) / AMD Ryzen 5 1600+ (non-U or G series) / Apple M1 (2020+) (CPU score ≥ 3000)

• Internet: 30–50 Mbps stable connection
