- Operate and control machinery according to specific instructions and blueprints to produce goods.
- Configure machines for production runs and make adjustments to optimize performance and maintain product specifications.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, clean equipment, and identify issues to ensure operational efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for defects, remove defective items, and ensure high standards of quality and consistency.
- Adhere to safety guidelines, conduct safety meetings, and ensure machinery operates safely.
- Observe machines during operation, monitor for problems, and take corrective action or call for technical assistance when needed.
- Load raw materials into machines and unload and package finished products.
- Record production data, report issues to supervisors, and maintain relevant documentation.
