Job Overview
The Trade Marketing and Category Manager will oversee category strategies, shopper engagement initiatives, and trade marketing programs to support business growth and strengthen retail execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of category and channel strategies.
- Create annual trade marketing plans and promotional calendars.
- Manage in-store activation programs and retail execution standards.
- Conduct category reviews and identify business opportunities.
- Analyze trade investments and measure return on marketing activities.
- Develop insights-based recommendations to improve category performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure program effectiveness.
- Support sales growth through shopper-focused marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or Category Management.
- FMCG or Beverage industry experience is required.
- Strong expertise in retail execution and trade analytics.
- Excellent presentation, planning, and leadership skills.
- Strong commercial understanding and business acumen.
