Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and Board.
- Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Advise management on investment decisions, capital structure, and funding strategies
2. Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management.
- Review and approve budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting requirements.
- Oversee compliance with local government permits, statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and other regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and government agencies.
4. Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Establish and maintain strong internal control systems.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement fraud prevention and financial governance measures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial controls.
5. Treasury & Funding
- Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.
- Oversee loans, credit facilities, and investment portfolios.
- Optimize capital allocation and cost of capital.
6. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
- Develop performance goals and conduct evaluations.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
