About the role
We are seeking a talented Project Site Engineer / Property Maintenance & Safety Engineer to join our team at Maplehaus, Inc. This full-time role is based in Laguna and Batangas and will play a critical part in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects and the ongoing maintenance and safety of our properties.What you'll be doing
Supervising and managing construction project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project detailed plans and specifications
Analyzing and interpret engineering drawings, plans, blueprint, topo and geologic data and other technical documentation to guide construction process
Collaborate closely with project manager, engineers, architects and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion and resolve technical issues and construction-related challenges
Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials on time and ensuring compliance with industry standards
Monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and adhering to budget constraints
Identify potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns and safety hazards
Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders and quality control measures.
Routine ocular inspections to be able to spot preventive maintenance work needed for the equipment and property to prevent breakdowns and future expensive repairs on roofing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related works
Create maintenance procedures, managing stocks of supplies and equipment
Be able to diagnose, trouble shoot, and recommend solutions to resolve and perform tasks to address and resolve the problem
Perform preventive maintenance work which involves servicing and inspection of equipment to prevent equipment breakdown and failures
Keeping a record of preventive and emergency maintenance work carried-out and ensuring compliance to safety regulations while doing maintenance work
What we're looking for
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Site Engineer or Maintenance/Safety Engineer in the construction industry
Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and risk management skills
Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations and quality control processes
Proficient in using project management software and construction-related technology
Effective communication and management skills
