Property Facilities and Maintenance Officer

We're looking for an experienced and dependable Maintenance Officer to help keep our stores and facilities in good working condition. You’ll play a key role in making sure our equipment, spaces, and systems run smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee company properties, facilities, and equipment
- Conduct routine checks and proactive maintenance to ensure smooth operations
- Schedule, supervise and perform repairs, upgrades and maintenance-related projects
- Respond quickly to maintenance issues and emergencies to ensure safety
- Support store teams with day-to-day facility and equipment needs and troubleshooting
- Monitor tools and ensure all equipment is safe and functional
- Keep accurate maintenance records and reports
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations
- Lead maintenance staff and provide coaching when needed
- Continuously suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate well with other teams, vendors, and external contractors
- Perform other tasks related to facility upkeep and improvement
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
- Skilled in using repair tools and maintenance techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Has customer-first mindset and a sense of urgency
- Must have a valid license (4 wheels and MC) for site visits
