Role Description
We are looking for a talented UI Game Designer who can both design intuitive user interfaces and create high-quality digital illustrations and game assets . This role requires a strong artistic eye, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to craft visually engaging UI systems that enhance gameplay and immersion.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute visually compelling UI systems for games across multiple platforms (mobile, PC, web).
- Create custom game assets , including icons, buttons, textures, and illustrated UI elements.
- Apply strong aesthetic judgment in color, composition, and layout to deliver a cohesive visual experience.
- Lead and maintain the overall UI visual style, ensuring consistency and quality across the game.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure proper UI implementation across various resolutions and devices.
- Produce digital illustrations and hand-crafted UI elements , including skeuomorphic or stylized designs where needed.
- Design and prototype interactive UI animations to improve user engagement and immersion.
- Work independently on large scale UI/UX tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality output.
- Continuously optimize UI designs based on feedback and usability considerations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- At least 2+ years of experience in UI design, preferably within game development (portfolio required).
- Strong digital illustration skills with the ability to draw and create original game assets.
- Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, Protopie, and similar software.
- Experience using drawing tablets for creating icons, UI elements, and illustrations.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles , color theory, composition, and layout.
- Familiarity with design standards across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
- Experience with Figma component libraries and design systems.
- Ability to create interactive animation prototypes using After Effects, Protopie, or similar tools.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment while meeting deadlines.
