Job summary

As a Senior Associate in the Client Account Management team, you will lead day-to-day client servicing for complex institutional and sub-advisory relationships, ensuring timely delivery, strong controls, and clear stakeholder coordination. You will act as a key escalation point for complex requests, partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement across servicing processes.

Job responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day servicing oversight for assigned client relationships, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across servicing activities
• Manage complex and sensitive client requests end-to-end, driving timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders
• Provide subject matter expertise across onboarding, account maintenance, reporting setup, cash activity support, fee and billing coordination, and guideline administration
• Serve as an escalation point for junior team members, providing guidance and support on complex servicing matters
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners (e.g., operations, product, legal, compliance, and technology) to deliver client outcomes and address issues
• Plan and execute significant client activities such as account transitions, restructures, amendments, reporting changes, and client audits
• Perform quality reviews of critical servicing activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures and controls
• Identify operational, client, regulatory, and reputational risks; escalate and drive mitigation actions in a timely manner
• Support team capacity planning, task allocation, training, mentoring, and development of junior team members
• Drive process improvement by identifying automation, standardization, and efficiency opportunities across the servicing lifecycle
• Participate in governance forums and project working groups, representing servicing needs and promoting a strong risk and control culture

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Graduate or post-graduate degree
• 8 years of relevant experience in asset management, asset servicing, or client service functions supporting institutional clients
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex client servicing activities and operational issue resolution
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across multiple functions and seniority levels
• Experience leading discussions, coordinating deliverables, and driving decisions for client servicing initiatives
• Working knowledge of operational risk management, governance practices, and escalation processes
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver high-quality output under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and execution skills, including basic project management capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Experience supporting institutional clients within asset management, custody, or investment banking client service environments
• Experience leading process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting and data analysis
• Financial market awareness and understanding of core investment concepts
• Working knowledge across multiple asset classes and servicing models
• Experience partnering with technology teams on system enhancements and operating model changes
• Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
