Job Description
The Accounting and Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance for a growing travel and leisure organization. This role requires a CPA with strong leadership capabilities and experience handling complex accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and General Accounting functions
- Ensure timely filing of taxes and compliance with BIR and government regulations
- Prepare management reports and financial analyses
- Implement accounting process improvements and compliance initiatives
- Manage external audit requirements and tax assessments
- Collaborate with business leaders to support financial planning and operational decisions
- Lead and develop accounting staff members
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Minimum 1 year managerial experience
- Preferably from travel agency, leisure, hospitality, or service-oriented industries
- Strong understanding of Philippine taxation and accounting standards
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
