About the Role:

Ou client is seeking an experienced full-time Video Editor to produce high-converting video advertisements across multiple brands.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the psychology behind performance marketing and knows how to edit content that captures attention, builds curiosity, and encourages viewers to take action. Rather than focusing on cinematic storytelling or complex visual effects, you'll create conversion-focused creatives, including video sales letters (VSLs), paid social ads, and short-form marketing content.

You'll also be expected to work creatively with limited source material by sourcing or generating high-quality B-roll using AI tools and stock libraries when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit high-performing video advertisements for paid media campaigns.
• Create engaging VSLs, social media ads, and other performance-focused marketing content.
• Transform raw footage into compelling, conversion-oriented videos.
• Use available B-roll creatively, and source or generate additional B-roll when needed
• Source or generate relevant B-roll using AI tools and stock libraries when existing assets are limited.
• Apply pacing, hooks, captions, transitions, and visual storytelling techniques that maximize viewer retention and click-through rates.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to execute campaign briefs.
• Continuously optimise creative output based on performance marketing principles.
• Maintain organised project files and meet production deadlines.
• You will be editing the videos in Dutch, however you don’t need to speak it, use of AI and Google translate is available to you and the wording will be checked by the creative team.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience editing performance marketing videos for paid advertising.
• Strong portfolio showcasing direct-response advertisements, VSLs, or high-performing social media creatives.
• Deep understanding of viewer attention, engagement, and conversion-focused editing.
• Confident sourcing or generating supporting visuals when raw footage is limited.
• Highly creative with strong storytelling instincts.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be comfortable with AI voiceover, ElevenLabs

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
• Tool-agnostic approach—candidates may use their preferred editing software.
• Experience using AI tools for content creation and B-roll generation (e.g. Runway, ElevenLabs, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with motion graphics is beneficial but not essential.
• Candidates whose experience is limited to basic editing platforms (such as CapCut alone) without demonstrating advanced editing capability are unlikely to be a good fit.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience editing for eCommerce or direct-to-consumer brands.
• Familiarity with Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid advertising platforms.
• Understanding of creative testing and performance marketing metrics.
• Experience creating content across multiple brands or client accounts.
