? NOW HIRING: Financial Clearance Specialist
Are you experienced in Insurance Verification and Prior Authorizations within the US healthcare industry? We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our growing team in Manila, Philippines !
? Location: Onsite - Manila, Philippines
? Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday | 10:30 pm to 7:00 am PHT
? Key Responsibilities:
✅ Verify patients’ insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits for scheduled services and admissions.
✅ Review and update insurance information accurately in the system.
✅ Contact insurance companies to confirm coverage details and resolve discrepancies.
✅ Re-verify insurance benefits at the beginning of each plan or calendar year.
✅ Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications required by insurance payers.
✅ Submit clinical documentation to support authorization requests.
✅ Follow up on pending authorizations to ensure timely approvals and avoid delays in patient care.
✅ Manage authorization extensions when necessary.
✅ Communicate with patients regarding coverage, benefits, out-of-pocket expenses, and authorization requirements.
✅ Provide exceptional customer service and help patients understand their insurance benefits.
✅ Collaborate with Operations, Billing, Revenue Cycle, and Payer Relations teams.
✅ Maintain detailed records, generate reports, ensure compliance, and support process improvement initiatives.
? Requirements:
? At least 1 year of experience in Insurance Verification, Prior Authorizations, Benefits Verification, or a related Revenue Cycle role.
? Strong knowledge of US healthcare insurance plans, benefits, and authorization processes.
? Understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation.
? Experience with EHR/EMR systems and healthcare billing software.
? Advanced English communication skills.
? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
? Full-time availability.
