We are looking for an Accountant to join our internal Finance team. This role manages the accounting function for Brainbox’s Philippine operations, covering transfer pricing, cost allocation, audit and payroll. You will keep our financial records accurate, compliant and audit-ready, and give management reliable figures to make decisions with.
You will work closely with our local management team and our Australian leadership, supporting a growing business that serves Australian clients across a range of industries.
Requirements
Transfer Pricing
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing calculations and intercompany charges between the Philippine and Australian entities.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies each month.
- Maintain transfer pricing documentation in line with BIR requirements.
- Support transfer pricing reviews and related reporting.
Cost Allocation
- Allocate shared costs across client accounts, departments and cost centres using agreed methodologies.
- Review and update allocation models as the business grows.
- Prepare cost reports and variance analysis for management.
- Identify cost trends and recommend improvements.
Audit
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents for external auditors.
- Act as a point of contact for auditor and BIR queries.
- Support internal reviews and help implement audit recommendations.
- Maintain internal controls and documentation to keep the books audit-ready.
Payroll
- Process end-to-end payroll for Brainbox staff accurately and on time.
- Compute and remit statutory contributions for SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG.
- Manage withholding tax, 13th month pay, final pay and annual tax reconciliation.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and respond to staff payroll queries.
General Accounting
- Complete month-end and year-end close, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare and file BIR returns and other statutory lodgements on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. CPA is an advantage.
- 4 to 7 years of accounting experience, including transfer pricing, cost allocation, audit and payroll.
- Working knowledge of Philippine tax, BIR compliance and statutory payroll requirements.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations. Exposure to Australian entities is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with accounting and payroll software such as Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and financial models.
- Able to speak and write in English proficiently.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organised, able to manage deadlines across multiple tasks.
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly with local and Australian stakeholders.
- Maintains confidentiality when handling financial and payroll information.

This position is an onsite role at our Pampanga office. Candidate must be willing to work on-site.
