We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Auditor to provide ongoing support for our accounting and compliance requirements. This is a retainer arrangement with onsite reporting 2–3 days per week. You will handle bookkeeping tasks, assist in audit work, and ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
Tasks & Responsibilities:- Record and maintain daily financial transactions and books of accounts
- Prepare and update ledgers, journals, and accounting records
- Handle accounts payable and receivable (billing, collections, and payments)
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Assist in preparing financial reports and monthly closing
- Ensure compliance with tax requirements (VAT, Withholding Tax, ITR, etc.)
- Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in internal audit activities and identify discrepancies
- Maintain organized filing of accounting and audit documents
- Provide ongoing support for accounting and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Bookkeeper is required
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Willing to report onsite 2–3 days per week
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Honest and able to handle confidential information
- Good communication skills
