Bookkeeper (Buildium, Quickbooks Online)

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to maintain and clean up financial information in Buildium and QuickBooks Online . The ideal candidate will ensure transactions are properly recorded, records are clear and accurate, and Excel reports are well organized. Over time, this role will also take on secretarial and administrative responsibilities to support daily property management operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Property Management

• Update and maintain financial information in Buildium .
• Review, clarify, and organize transactions to ensure accurate records.
• Enter and categorize transactions correctly.
• Reconcile and identify discrepancies when needed.
• Maintain clear and organized Excel spreadsheets and financial reports .
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Online .
• Keep property and accounting records accurate and up to date.

Administrative / Secretary Support

• Eventually assist with general secretarial and administrative tasks .
• Help manage emails, documents, files, and routine communications.
• Support daily property management activities as needed.
• Perform data entry and maintain organized records.

Qualifications:

• Previous bookkeeping experience , preferably in property management.
• Hands-on experience with Buildium is strongly preferred .
• Experience with QuickBooks Online .
• Good knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Highly organized and able to identify and clarify discrepancies.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Able to work independently, follow instructions, and manage recurring tasks reliably.

Key Requirement: Experience with Buildium + QuickBooks Online + Excel is highly preferred.
