Milling assistant supervisor or supervisor Japanese Polymer plant

Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Milling (Material Preparation) Section. Ensure operators’ compliance with standard material processing procedures, and monitor, control, and manage the 6M, particularly during abnormal conditions and change points through regular Gemba activities. Conduct investigations for problems encountered, initiate and evaluate corrective and preventive actions together with Team Leaders. Monitor performance trends and initiate appropriate actions. Lead the daily Asakai and disseminate information to the whole team. Attend meetings, as necessary, together with other key personnel. Carry out additional tasks assigned by management, such as new material trials and customer sample production. Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office. With proven experience as a Process or Production Engineer, ・preferably with strong manpower management skills. Background in a rubber manufacturing environment is an advantage. Willing to render overtime when required. Open to training in handling heavy machinery/equipment and chemical processes. Knowledgeable in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Familiar with production planning processes. Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
