Job description:
- Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
- Inspect and maintain equipment, machinery, and fixtures.
- Fix leaks, electrical issues, and plumbing problems promptly.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent failures.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas, including restrooms, hallways, and grounds.
- Ensure that areas are safe and accessible for all personnel and visitors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in general maintenance or repair work.
- Knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, or be on-call in case of emergency.
- Work environment may include exposure to varying weather conditions and indoor/outdoor spaces.
