COMPANY PROFILE: This company is a Steel Trading here in the Philippines. They established their first operations since 2024. They focus on importing, exporting, and domestic trading of steel products, industrial products, raw materials and machinery. The company aims to build their relationship between the customer and group purchasing organizations despite of a newly recognized steel trading by providing them a good quality of their steel products for the infrastructure, and industrial machinery etc. Position: Senior Accounting Officer (CPA) Company Industry: Trading Company Work Location: Makati City Work Schedule: Dayshift (8:00AM-5:00PM) Salary: Php 70,000 Gross Work Set Up: On-site

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
✨ CPA
- At least 5–8 years of accounting or in related field.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Has an experience in trading / import-export is an advantage.
- Willing to work on-site
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading the accounting team by assign tasks, manage deadlines, and oversee daily operations.
- Managing the team performance for the set targets, review work, coach, develop staff and reviewing or approving the invoices, vouchers, payments, remittances, and reconciliations.
- Monitoring the monthly and year-end closing and ensure deadlines are met and familiarize the import and trade accounting for landed cost, customs documents (SAD/SSDT), import duties, and VAT on importation.
- Processing the foreign remittances / telegraphic transfers and multi-currency transactions, including foreign exchange gain/loss and revaluation.
- Handling the intercompany transactions and prepare the monthly reporting package for the Japan head office and applying cross-border withholding tax and the RP–Japan tax treaty.
- Preparing the financial statements under PFRS and ensure full BIR compliance (VAT, withholding tax, eFPS) and managing the bank and account reconciliations and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
