General Ledger Team Leader

This role leads the Accounting and Reporting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and corporate guidelines, and strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing effective financial procedures and identifying control gaps.
• Monitoring KPIs and driving process improvements and automation.
• Managing month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting.
• Overseeing tax computations, audits, and financial reconciliations.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements.
• Ensuring timely submission of statutory accounts and maintenance of tax/statutory books.
• Leading team recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training.
• Coordinating with external auditors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Managing intercompany (IC) reconciliation for transfer pricing.
• Supporting transition projects, including process mapping, SLA preparation, recruitment, and team structure enhancement.

• 3–5 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting within a multinational or shared services environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax regulations, and statutory compliance
• Experience in process migration, including coordinating transitions and implementing standard operating procedures
• Demonstrated ability to lead financial audits, reconciliations, and reporting cycles (month-end and year-end)
• Proven leadership skills—experience managing teams, setting performance goals, and providing training
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office-based IT tools
