- A Baker is responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking ingredients to create a variety of baked goods, such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Job Responsibilities:Prepare ingredients: Measure and mix ingredients, such as flour, sugar, yeast, and other materials, to make dough and batter.Baking: Operate ovens and other baking equipment to bake products to the desired consistency and quality.Product Decoration: Decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods with frosting, icing, and toppings.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, and sanitation.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.Physical stamina for long hours of standing and lifting heavy ingredients.Creativity and a passion for baking.Excellent time management skills to meet baking deadlines.
