Key Responsibilities
- Shipment Coordination: Arranging and tracking deliveries, preparing shipping documents (e.g., invoices, waybills, customs forms), and communicating with carriers and vendors.
- Inspecting incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies, signing delivery notes, and organizing products in storage areas.
- Ensuring the warehouse or shipping center remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Receiving incoming shipments and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Developing and communicating shipment schedules.
- Liaising with vendors and carrier services to coordinate logistics and timelines.
- Assisting customers and resolving shipment issues and complaints.
- Preparing and maintaining shipment paperwork, records, and digital databases.
- Performing additional duties as needed.
Logistics Associate Requirements:
- College or High school diploma or at two (2) years of experience in logistics management or a related role.
- Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
