Job Description
THIS ROLE
A mid-level accounting position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services with minimal supervision. This role handles both low and medium complexity funds, focusing on core accounting processes and standard cluster communications. The position requires independent execution of established procedures while maintaining quality and timeliness standards.
- Prepare financial statements, NAV reports, and other deliverables using prescribed guidelines
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work within established standards and following detailed checklists
- Apply relevant accounting standards and requirements as directed
- Follow quality control processes and risk management protocols
- Build knowledge of clients specific requirements and industry practices
Tasks:
- Maintain accurate fund books and records and perform daily bookkeeping with periodic financial reporting
- Process routine transactions including capital calls, distributions, and investor notices
- Identify and escalate potential operational risks while ensuring quality through self-reviews
- Follow and help document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and track work progress via timesheets
- Participate in training, process improvement initiatives, and support additional duties as needed

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 1.5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and fund structures, with experience handling moderately complex financial data and processes independently.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and tools, with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset and openness to feedback for continuous improvement.
