Engineering Documentation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented  Engineering Documentation Specialist to support our engineering team by preparing, managing, and reviewing key technical documents. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background (license not required) who is proficient with industry-standard software and has experience creating engineering documents such as letters, site plans, and one-line diagrams.

• Draft and prepare engineering documents, including site plans, letters, and one-line diagrams.
• Use engineering software to create, edit, and review technical drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with licensed engineers and project managers to ensure document accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized records of all engineering documents and revisions.
• Assist in coordinating document flow between internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Solid engineering knowledge (formal license not required).
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Experience preparing site plans, letters, and one-line diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in an engineering or construction environment.
• Familiarity with permitting or utility interconnection processes.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
