⚖️✈️ WE’RE HIRING: Business Development Manager
Location: Pasay City, Philippines
Aviation Partnership Philippines is looking for a highly capable and business-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and provide strategic legal support across the organization.
The responsibilities are outlined but not limited to the following:
- Manage the day-to-day commercial and strategic relationship between Aplus and Cebu Pacific Operations.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager and focal point for key Cebu Pacific stakeholders.
- Develop and execute the Cebu Pacific account plan in alignment with Aplus' business strategy.
- Build strong relationships with Cebu Pacific decision-makers and operational stakeholders.
- Monitor account performance, revenue, profitability, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead regular business reviews and customer engagement activities.
- Identify and develop opportunities to expand Aplus services and grow the Cebu Pacific account.
- Manage customer concerns, complaints, escalations, and service recovery, escalating major issues to the Group Manager as appropriate.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve significant service issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Anticipate changes in Cebu Pacific's fleet, network, schedules, and operational requirements and assess business opportunities and risks.
- Coordinate commercial proposals, quotations, contract amendments, and negotiations in coordination with the Group Manager and relevant functions.
- Monitor contractual obligations, commercial terms, and overall account health.
- Provide customer intelligence, business forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the Group Manager.
- Champion service excellence and initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer value.
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other functions to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Support business continuity, operational recovery, and other strategic initiatives involving Cebu Pacific.
- Represent Aplus in customer meetings and business discussions within delegated authority.
- Lead and mentor account team members, where applicable, and promote a customer-focused culture.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, commercial, marketing, or aviation-related roles
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial, leadership, or business development management capacity
- Proven track record in new customer acquisition, revenue generation, and market development
- Experience managing RFPs, RFQs, tenders, commercial proposals, and negotiations.
- Experience in the aviation, airline, MRO, or related industry is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with senior customers, partners, and cross-functional teams
