Business Development Specialist

About the Role The Global Sourcing Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to support our client's sales and business development efforts within the construction and design industry. This role is ideal for someone who excels in appointment setting, lead qualification, customer service, and relationship building while communicating with architects, contractors, designers, and other industry professionals. Key Responsibilities Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team Qualify leads and gather accurate project information Build relationships with architects, contractors, designers, developers, and decision-makers Follow company scripts, processes, and qualification guidelines Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up activities Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth appointment handoffs Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for calls and appointments Qualifications Required Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in: Advanced Appointment Setting Sales Support Advanced Customer Service Experience in the construction, real estate, or interior design industry is highly required. Strong understanding of construction and design terminology, including: Specifications Bid Lists Project Phases Bathroom Products Communication Skills Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) Clear, confident, and professional speaking voice Strong active listening skills with the ability to capture important details Able to explain the purpose of each call professionally and persuasively without being pushy Comprehension & Retention Quickly understands technical discussions, project details, and customer requirements Able to interpret customer needs and gather complete information Follows scripts, processes, and instructions accurately Excellent memory and follow-up skills for contacts, project timelines, and customer requests Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and email Experience with CRM platforms; Salesforce and Aircall experience is a plus Comfortable learning new software and systems What We're Looking For Confident, friendly, and persuasive communicator Goal-oriented and target-driven Strong work ethic and self-discipline Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Willing to learn products and the construction industry Comfortable making high daily call volumes Able to work in a KPI-driven environment Work Setup Full-Time 100% Onsite JDN IT Center Building 3 & 4, Mandaue City, Cebu Graveyard Shift Why Join Us?
