About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clothing Store Supervisor to join ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Zamboanga City, Zamboanga Del Sur . As Clothing Store Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail clothing store, maintaining high standards of customer service, and leading a team to achieve sales targets and operational excellence. This position is integral to delivering an exceptional shopping experience and driving business success in the retail sector.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and managing store staff, including scheduling, training, performance management and conducting regular performance reviews

• Ensuring the store operates efficiently and maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation and visual merchandising at all times

• Monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock deliveries and implementing effective stock control procedures to minimise shrinkage

• Achieving and exceeding sales targets through strategic planning, promotional activities and motivating the sales team

• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints in a professional and timely manner

• Managing the daily cash handling, processing transactions and reconciling the till to ensure accuracy

• Implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures and health and safety standards throughout the store

• Analysing sales data and preparing regular reports to management on store performance, staffing and operational metrics

• Creating engaging visual displays and implementing merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and encourage sales

• Conducting regular staff meetings to communicate company objectives, updates and recognise achievements

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably within the clothing or fashion retail sector

• Strong leadership abilities with the proven capacity to motivate, train and manage a diverse team effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, customers and management at all levels

• Sound numeracy skills and proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software

• Outstanding customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure

• Knowledge of retail merchandising principles and visual display techniques

• Reliability, integrity and a professional appearance that reflects company standards

• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

• A valid driver's licence would be advantageous
