We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: The client is an Australian-focused professional accounting and business support organisation that works with businesses across different industries. Their team provides bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting and broader accounting support, with a strong focus on accuracy, accountability, efficiency and professional client service. The business offers exposure to a range of Australian clients and opportunities to develop skills across end-to-end accounting and financial management.

Role Overview : We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to support Australian businesses with a broad range of accounting and payroll functions. This is a hands-on role covering end-to-end bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll processing, month-end reporting and financial analysis. You will work across potentially multiple Australian clients and will be expected to take ownership of your work, investigate discrepancies, manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work within agreed deadlines. Previous Australian accounting experience is preferred but not essential, with training and ongoing support provided in Australian accounting systems, payroll procedures and reporting requirements. Ultimately, we are looking for someone with a strong accounting foundation, the right attitude and the potential to develop into a dependable, well-rounded accounting professional. Note: Performance will be assessed against agreed KPIs, including accuracy, timeliness, productivity, accountability, quality of work and client communication. Formal performance and remuneration reviews will take place every four months. Any remuneration adjustment will be performance-based and subject to business requirements, rather than automatic.
