- A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other drinks to customers in a coffee shop or café. Key duties typically include:

- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is often required. Some employers may offer on-the-job training.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or as a barista may be preferred, but not always necessary.
