We are seeking an experienced General Affairs Manager to oversee the company’s facilities, workplace services, administrative operations, and related compliance activities. This role will ensure that company sites and employee services operate safely, efficiently, and in line with business needs and applicable requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of General Affairs and office administration.
- Manage facilities maintenance, including building systems, utilities, repairs, preventive maintenance, and space planning.
- Coordinate employee and site services such as transportation, housekeeping, canteen operations, security, and other workplace support.
- Develop service standards and monitor service quality, costs, and vendor performance.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, landlords, and service providers, including sourcing, contract coordination, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
- Monitor General Affairs budgets, operating expenses, purchase requests, and service contracts.
- Coordinate company permits, registrations, renewals, and other government compliance requirements, including PEZA, DOLE, and local government permits, as applicable.
- Maintain accurate records, licenses, contracts, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate visa and work-related documentation for foreign employees, as well as travel arrangements and documentation for business trips.
- Work with HR, Finance, EHS, Security, and other departments to support employee needs and company operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the General Affairs team; set priorities and ensure timely service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve workplace services, administrative processes, cost control, and employee experience.
- Support audits, inspections, emergency preparedness, and business continuity activities related to facilities and administrative operations.
- Prepare regular reports on service performance, expenses, compliance status, and improvement initiatives for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of related experience in General Affairs or office administration, including at least two years in a supervisory role .
- Experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of:
- Facilities maintenance and building operations.
- Company services such as transportation, housekeeping, and canteen operations.
- Government compliance requirements, including PEZA, DOLE, and local government permits, as applicable.
- Vendor and contractor sourcing, coordination, and performance management.
- Visa processing and coordination for foreign employees and business travel.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, resolve operational issues, and coordinate effectively across departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and administrative or facilities management systems.
