Group Accounting Manager

Responsibilities - Oversee all aspects of the group accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Lead the team in the execution of audits and tax compliance processes.
- Develop and implement accounting strategies to improve financial management.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to staff accountants to foster professional development.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience Level: 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance
- Skills and Competencies: CPA License, Financial Reporting, Tax Compliance, BIR Audit Handling
- Responsibilities and Duties: General Ledger Management, Budget Planning, Accounting Strategy
- Qualities and Traits: Strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail
Relevant experience:
- Philippines-based accounting experience; experience in other countries not relevant
- Leading response to BIR audits and other tax issues
- Overall accounting strategy
Experience Required
- At least 5 years in Accounting Manager / Senior Finance leadership role
- Strong Philippines-based accounting experience is required
- Direct experience leading responses to Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) audits , tax assessments, and compliance issues
- Experience in overall accounting strategy, financial controls, and team management is highly preferred
- Experience in multinational or group-level accounting structure is an advantage
