Dispatching Runner

Job Summary
The Dispatching Runner is responsible for assisting in the preparation, movement, checking, staging, and release of products for customer deliveries, branch transfers, and other authorized transactions. The role ensures that products are properly handled and delivered to the designated dispatch area accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in picking and retrieving products based on approved Delivery Receipts (DRs), Pick Lists, Transfer Slips, and other authorized documents.
- Move and transport products from designated warehouse locations to the dispatching area.
- Assist in checking product quantities, item descriptions, and conditions before dispatch.
- Properly segregate and arrange products according to customer, branch, or delivery destination.
- Assist in loading and unloading products from delivery vehicles.
- Ensure proper handling of products to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement.
- Coordinate with Warehousemen, Dispatching Staff, Drivers, and other concerned personnel regarding order preparation.
- Immediately report missing, damaged, excess, or incorrect items to the Dispatching In-Charge or Warehouse Supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the dispatching and staging areas.
- Ensure that products are properly secured and ready for timely dispatch.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures, proper lifting techniques, and company policies.
- Assist in inventory counts, stock transfers, and other warehouse activities as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- At least High School Graduate or Senior High School Graduate .
- Previous experience in warehouse, dispatching, logistics, or delivery operations is an advantage.
- Experience in wholesale, retail, hardware, construction materials, or industrial supplies is a plus.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
