Driver

The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating company vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, and materials to and from various destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving and Transportation:
* Operate company vehicles (cars, vans, trucks, etc.) safely and efficiently.
* Plan and execute routes, ensuring timely and accurate transportation.
* Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.
* Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
* Inspect vehicle before and after each trip, ensuring it is in safe operating condition.
* Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., tire pressure, fluid levels).
* Maintain accurate driving logs and records.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Customer Service:
* Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and any potential delays.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
Safety and Compliance:
* Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
* Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized driving record.
* Report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
Other Duties:
* Assist with vehicle maintenance and cleaning as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager/Supervisor.
Experience:
* Minimum 1-3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
* Experience driving [Specific vehicle types, e.g., passenger vans, trucks] preferred.
Education:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
* Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required depending on the vehicle type.
Skills:
* Excellent driving record with minimal traffic violations.
* Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
* Ability to read maps and navigate effectively.
* Defensive driving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
