We are seeking a reliable and experienced Logistics Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to and from various locations according to schedules and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving and Delivery:
* Safely operate company vehicles (trucks, vans, etc.) according to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
* Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely.
* Deliver goods to customers on time and in accordance with delivery schedules.
* Inspect and maintain vehicle logs as required.
* Ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper maintenance.
* Plan and execute efficient delivery routes.
Customer Service:
* Provide excellent customer service to clients.
* Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers.
* Resolve any delivery issues promptly and professionally.
Safety and Compliance:
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
* Maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
* Comply with all DOT regulations (if applicable).
- * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- * Valid Class [Class of Driver's License - e.g., CDL] driver's license with a clean driving record.
- * Minimum [Number] years of professional driving experience.
- * Experience with [Specific types of vehicles or cargo, e.g., forklifts, heavy equipment, hazardous materials].
- * Excellent driving record and safety awareness.
- * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- * Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- * Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- * Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems.
