About the role
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Community Relations Officer to join our team in the nickel mining industry.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate with local communities, barangay officials, LGUs, and other stakeholders
Conduct fieldwork and community visits
Prepare reports, documentation, and community engagement records
Manage community development programs and stakeholder consultations
Handle grievance procedures
Coordinate with local communities in mining areas
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Studies, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or social development, preferably in the mining industry
Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Knowledge of community development programs, stakeholder consultations, and grievance handling
Familiarity with mining-related social and environmental programs and applicable regulations
Able to prepare reports, documentation, and community engagement records
Willing to conduct fieldwork and community visits
Willing to work on-site and coordinate with local communities in mining areas
