Position Title:

Head Nurse

Salary Range:

₱45,000 – ₱65,000 per month

Pasay and Sucat, Muntinlupa

Job Summary:

The Head Nurse is responsible for leading and supervising the clinical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents. This role promotes residents’ health and well-being through proper nursing management, compliance with healthcare standards, coordination with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and continuous staff development. The Head Nurse also ensures compassionate care, accurate documentation, medication administration, and smooth daily clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership & Supervision

Plan, organize, and supervise daily nursing and caregiving operations.

Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance and compliance with care standards.

Assist the Clinical Care Manager in staff scheduling and shift management.

Supervise assigned Nurses and Caregivers to ensure quality resident care.

Take charge of clinical operations in the absence of the Clinical Care Manager.

Resident Care Management

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans.

Manage and monitor residents with chronic illnesses and complex healthcare needs.

Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to treatment protocols.

Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents and families.

Accompany and support residents during end-of-life care stages.

Coordination & Collaboration

Coordinate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and other departments regarding resident care.

Ensure the availability and proper condition of medical equipment and facilities.

Resolve resident concerns and healthcare needs using multidisciplinary approaches.

Training & Compliance

Conduct onboarding and training for newly hired clinical staff.

Facilitate regular training sessions to ensure standard compliance and continuous improvement.

Participate in policy development and recommend improvements in resident care services.

Maintain compliance with RainTree Care quality management standards.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain accurate nursing care documentation including:

Nursing Care Plans

Admission Reports

Clinical Assessments

Ensure complete and accurate medical records and treatment documentation.

Professional Development

Stay updated with current nursing literature and healthcare practices.

Share professional knowledge and best practices with the clinical team.

Participate in internal and external educational programs and training.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Required)

Master’s Degree (Preferred)

Registered Nurse license preferred

At least 3 years of experience as a Head Nurse, Supervisor, or similar leadership role

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Knowledge of nursing care standards, medication administration, and clinical operations

Computer literate with experience using healthcare systems and technological platforms
