We are seeking a talented and passionate Sketch Assistant to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our designers by assisting with various tasks related to the Sketch design tool. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our design process.
Responsibilities:
Sketch Mastery:
* Become proficient in using all aspects of the Sketch application, including its advanced features and plugins.
* Develop a deep understanding of Sketch's design systems and best practices.
Design Support:
* Assist designers in creating and maintaining design systems, libraries, and templates.
* Prepare and organize design files, ensuring consistency and clarity.
* Assist with the creation and maintenance of design specs and handoffs.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Sketch files.
Project Assistance:
* Support designers throughout the design process, from initial concept to final handoff.
* Assist with the creation of prototypes and interactive elements.
* Gather and organize design assets for developers.
Research and Development:
* Stay up-to-date on the latest Sketch features, plugins, and industry best practices.
* Research and evaluate new design tools and technologies.
* Explore and implement new workflows to improve design efficiency.
Communication and Collaboration:
* Effectively communicate with designers and other stakeholders.
* Collaborate effectively within the design team and across other departments.
* Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to improve design processes.
- Strong Proficiency in Sketch: Proven experience using Sketch for design projects.
- Design Fundamentals: Basic understanding of design principles and best practices.
- Technical Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Mac OS and relevant software (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and positive attitude.
