- A Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and sorting laundry in various settings, such as hotels, hospitals, or laundromats.
- They ensure cleanliness, proper handling of fabrics, and timely delivery of laundry items to customers. They also maintain laundry equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Laundry Handling:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
- Ensure the appropriate use of detergent, softeners, and stain removers.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or other issues before washing.
- Ensure that laundry meets the cleanliness and quality standards set by the employer.
- Organization and Inventory:
- Organize laundry into categories (e.g., towels, bed linens, uniforms).
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Customer Service:
- Assist customers with laundry-related inquiries and concerns (if applicable).
- Provide a high level of service by ensuring all laundry is returned promptly and in excellent condition.
- Maintenance and Cleanliness:
- Keep the laundry area clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment (e.g., clearing lint traps, reporting equipment malfunctions).
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of laundry processed (in some settings).
- Follow company procedures for laundry tracking and billing.

- . Experience in Laundry Services:

- Physical Stamina:

- Time Management:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
