Billing and Collections Officer

As a Billing and Collections Officer, your role is to manage billing and collection processes, monitor customer accounts and payment transactions, coordinate logistics-related billing concerns, and maintain accurate financial records to support efficient operations and healthy cash flow management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prepare and process accurate invoices, billing statements, collection records, and logistics-related billing transactions.
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure timely payment collections and delivery-related payments.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies, maintain accurate financial and logistics records, and prepare collection reports.
• Coordinate with clients, logistics personnel, and internal departments regarding invoices, deliveries, payments, and account concerns.
• Assist in improving billing, collection, and logistics coordination processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, logistics coordination, or general accounting functions.
• Knowledgeable in invoicing, account reconciliation, collection procedures, and logistics documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting or ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented with good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
