Position: Network Operations Center (NOC) Intern

Job Overview

As a NOC Intern , you will help ensure maximum service availability across TASKUS infrastructure. You will monitor alerts, perform routine health checks, and work alongside NOC engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring: Proactively monitor core network health using enterprise tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Thousandeyes) and respond immediately to system alerts.
• Triage & Escalation: Validate incoming alerts, perform initial diagnostic checks, and escalate complex issues to NOC Engineers following standard operating procedures.
• Health Checks & Reporting: Perform infrastructure checks and assist in generating network performance metrics for management.
• Documentation: Help track device inventory, knowledge base entries, and network documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, IT , or a related field.
• Basic grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS/DHCP, Subnetting, Routing/Switching).
• Basic familiarity with network diagnostics (ping,traceroute, Wireshark).

• Monday to Friday only
• Onsite
• 8AM to 5PM
