Key Responsibilities
- Service Desk Support: Answer support tickets and user calls, manage issues by priority, and follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- System Monitoring: Check application health, server alerts, and log files to catch errors early.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose software failures, database glitches, and network connectivity problems.
- Collaboration: Partner with senior engineers and developers to escalate complex bugs and test new software updates.
- Documentation: Record recurring problems and their solutions in the internal knowledge base.
Requirements
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL for querying databases, and familiarity with Windows or Unix servers.
- Soft Skills: Good English communication skills to explain technical fixes to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving: Strong logical thinking to track down the root cause of an application error.
