Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accounting Manager to oversee cost accounting operations for a growing food chain business. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, financial analysis, and cost control initiatives that support business profitability and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in food service, restaurant, or retail operations and possesses strong analytical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cost accounting activities and month-end closing.
• Maintain standard costing and product costing methodologies.
• Monitor food costs, inventory movements, and production costs.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare profitability, margin, and cost analysis reports.
• Oversee inventory reconciliation and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Partner with Operations, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve cost efficiency.
• Support budgeting and forecasting related to operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Lead process improvement initiatives within the finance team.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience , with at least 2 years in cost accounting or supervisory experience .
• Experience in Food Chain, Restaurant, Retail, FMCG, or Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, product costing, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Willing to work on-site in Mandaluyong City.
