Payroll Associate

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & Accounting Associate to join our team. This role combines payroll processing with general accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records and timely employee payments. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of English—both written and verbal—for clear communication with employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Duties:

· Process and review payrolls for all employees in accordance with established schedules.

· Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

· Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.

Accounting Duties:

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

· Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain ledgers.

· Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Generate financial reports and assist with audits as needed.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in payroll processing and basic accounting.

· Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).

· Knowledge of payroll systems and accounting principles.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

· Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Education:

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
