About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Logistics Supervisor to oversee the daily logistics operations and ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, with proven leadership skills and the ability to optimize logistics processes while maintaining high service standards.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and manage the daily operations of the logistics department, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of goods.
Coordinate with internal departments and external logistics providers to optimize transportation routes, delivery schedules, and overall logistics performance.
Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods while ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy in coordination with the Materials Control Department.
Monitor logistics activities to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
Analyze logistics data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to management on performance, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable industry regulations.
Resolve logistics issues, shipment delays, and operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
Supervise, coach, and develop logistics personnel to improve team performance and productivity.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders to support smooth logistics operations.
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing, freight, or cargo forwarding industry.
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, transportation management, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution processes.
Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a logistics team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
Willing to work onsite in Malinta, Valenzuela City.
