Stall Attendant

Cosio Fish Stall
A Stall Attendant is responsible for ensuring smooth operations of a retail stall, assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the stall, and providing excellent customer service. The Stall Attendant will help with stock management, display arrangement, and the promotion of products to attract customers.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Provide assistance with product selection, answer questions, and offer recommendations based on customer needs.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Product Management:
- Ensure that the stall is stocked with products and that items are properly displayed.
- Replenish stock as needed and ensure items are neatly arranged.
- Monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items from display.
Cash Handling and Sales:
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle payments (cash, card, etc.).
- Maintain accurate sales records and receipts.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales.
Cleanliness and Organization:
- Keep the stall clean and organized, ensuring a tidy appearance at all times.
- Ensure all displays are in excellent condition and well-maintained.
- Sweep or mop the area as needed, remove trash, and ensure a safe environment.
Stock and Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing inventory, including monitoring stock levels, receiving deliveries, and keeping track of inventory changes.
- Assist with stock rotation and prevent overstocking or understocking issues.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift items as required.
Work Environment:
- Work in an outdoor or indoor stall, subject to weather conditions (if applicable).
- Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
