Description - Oversee and coordinate the purchasing department's daily operations.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve cost efficiency.
- Maintain and establish relationships with suppliers to negotiate terms and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations concerning procurement.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Licensed Mechanical Engineer, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in purchasing practices, time management, and vendor negotiation.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to analyze market trends and adapt purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with potential travel to supplier locations.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
