Position Overview
Looking for an experienced professional with strong expertise in Payment Fraud, Financial Crime, and Banking to join as Senior Director, Strategic Solutions & Advisory – Financial Crime & Fraud. This role will report to the Head of International Payments Fraud and will focus on helping financial institutions strengthen their payment fraud prevention strategies while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities • Act as a subject matter expert on payment fraud, financial crime trends, and regulatory requirements.• Support Sales teams by identifying client needs, presenting solutions, and communicating business value to executives.
• Build and maintain relationships with banking stakeholders across local and regional markets.
• Engage with fraud, risk, and compliance leaders throughout pre-sale and post-sale activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Threat Analytics, and Customer Success teams to enhance solutions and identify new use cases.
• Represent Verafin at conferences, webinars, executive briefings, and industry events. Required Qualifications ✅ 5+ years of experience in Banking and Payment Fraud Prevention.
✅ Strong understanding of domestic and regional payment rails.
✅ Experience advising senior executives and influencing business decisions.
✅ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
✅ Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
✅ Fluency in Spanish (Required). Preferred Qualifications ⭐ Experience working with ASEAN financial institutions.
