Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that materials and services are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
- Evaluate supplier performance through audits and reviews, recommending improvements as necessary.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience Level: 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Skills and Competencies: Strong decision-making skills, negotiation, canvassing/purchasing, marketing research
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to analyze and interpret data for informed decision making
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment with potential for travel to supplier sites
