Operations and Maintenance Engineers - Pioneering Team for Solar Plant

Job Description:

Sungrow Smart Maintenance Philippines is urgently looking for Operations and Maintenance Engineers to support the operation and maintenance of our solar power plant projects. The successful candidate will perform operations and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical issues, and repair solar plant equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities - Operations Engineers:

1. Responsible for the centralized monitoring of the 24-hour operation status of power plant equipment, promptly identifying and recording equipment anomalies and alarm messages.

2. Strictly adhere to the operating procedures for photovoltaic power plants and complete routine operations management tasks, including filling out operating logs, monitoring and recording readings, remotely monitoring data, and analyzing operating parameters.

3. Responsible for operating and dispatching equipment during shifts at the power plant, executing dispatching instructions, and properly filling out operation and work tickets.

4. Responsible for preparing and submitting various daily operation reports and production reports for the power plant. Ensure that operation data is accurately recorded, statistically analyzed, and properly archived.

5. Responsible for organizing and verifying data related to electricity bill settlements, and assisting with the processing of electricity bill settlement procedures.

6. Responsible for managing civilized production during working hours. Ensure the cleanliness of the duty room and monitoring equipment, and maintain a tidy and organized work environment.

7. Properly use and securely store monitoring equipment, communication devices, and various tools. Report any defects in the equipment promptly and notify maintenance personnel for handling.

8. Coordination with maintenance personnel in the implementation of safety measures and operational procedures for tasks such as power outage maintenance and fault handling of equipment.

9. Complete any other tasks assigned by superiors.

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineers:

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of solar PV modules, inverters, combiner boxes, and other electrical equipment.

1. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues related to the solar power plant.

2. Carry out on-site maintenance tasks, including electrical wiring checks, minor repairs, and preventive work.

3. Monitor plant performance and report abnormalities to the Operations Engineer or O&M Team Leader.

4. Assist in maintaining SCADA monitoring systems and other plant monitoring tools.

5. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, electrical standards, and company policies.

6. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, incidents, and corrective actions.

7. Support general site maintenance activities, including equipment checks and vegetation control when needed.

• Must be a graduate of Electrical Engineering

• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer

• Experience in electrical maintenance, solar power plants, or industrial facilities is an advantage.

• Knowledge and experience in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance tools.

• With proven leadership ability and initiative to take the lead

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Amenability to be assigned in any project sites, amenability for shifting schedule
