Accounting Specialist

- Set up and configure accounting systems for Philippine clients (chart of accounts, tracking categories, bank feeds, templates, etc.).
- Assist in CAS (Computerized Accounting System) application, implementation, and onboarding for SMEs.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations, account analyses, and schedule preparations.
- Ensure timely posting of transactions and review entries for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the implementation of internal controls and process improvements.
- Coordinate with clients for needed documents, clarifications, and financial data.
- Support ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
- Has experience using Xero, QuickBooks, or Juan accounting systems.
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in general accounting or bookkeeping (PH setup preferred).
- Strong understanding of Philippine accounting standards and basic tax concepts.
- Proficient in preparing management financial statements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate directly with clients.
- CPA license is an advantage but not required.
